When using By Template to create new Records, you will enter the name of the record that currently exists in SugarCRM and Process Manager will get this record and create a duplicate. By Parent. When using By Parent to create new Records, the record that triggered the process will be duplicated. By Field. When using By Value to create new Records, you will set each field individually. When setting the fields you have the following options: By Value – set the field to a fixed value Copy From Field – set the field to a value copied from a field from the record that triggered the process Append By Value – append a fixed value to the field Append By Field – append the field with a value copied from the record that triggered the process.
