SierraCRM
has been delivering CRM products and consulting services since 1996
when the founder Bill Convis joined a small CRM company called Clarify
in San Jose. Clarify was one of the early CRM companies delivering a
great CRM product that competed with Siebel, Vantive, and other CRM
vendors. In 1996, Sierra Software Solutions was founded by Bill. Sierra
Software Solutions delivered developer tools and enhancements for
Clarify.
In 2005 SierraCRM was
incorporated in the beautiful foothills of North California. That year,
SierraCRM joined the SugarCRM community and delivered a vertical version
of SugarCRM for the mortgage banking market. This product, LenderCRM
had three key enhancements built for it: Workflow, Campaign Management,
and Intelligent Routing. In 2006, SierraCRM took all three key products
built for LenderCRM and delivered stand alone modules for each under
SugarCRM 4.5. These modules Process Manager, Marketing Manager and
Routing Manager were delivered to the SugarCRM community to better help
SugarCRM CE users enhance their Sugar installations.
In 2007 - SierraCRM created
a community version of Process Manager and posted on SugarForge. Over
20,000 downloads of Process Manager CE since its initial release. In the
summer of 2007, SierraCRM was awarded Project of the Month for Process
Manager CE. SierraCRM has continued to enhance all three products and in
the summer of 2011, SierraCRM released Process Manager Pro which is a
new product combining the best of all three products into one.
