Upgrading your Amdocs implementation is a breeze when you choose SierraCRM as your consulting partner. Your upgrade expert will be Bill Convis or a member of the SierrCRM consulting family. Bill has been contracting to Amdocs Professional Services since 1998. As a former employee of Clarify from 1996-1998, Bill has extensive knowledge of the Amdocs product suite and development environment.
Upgrading from one version of Amdocs to the next is a simple process. Amdocs Engineering has done an outstanding job of developing upgrade scripts that verify your data and customizations are preserved.

- Run ddcomp to apply this schema

- Review all logs to verify no issues present in the first upgrade step

- Classic Client Merge
- In a Classic to Classic upgrade – merge the custom forms
- Verify merged forms work in upgraded database
- In a Classic to Classic upgrade – merge the custom forms
- Run the second upgrade
- Merge custom forms and verify
- Review logs
- Merge custom forms and verify
- Run the final upgrade to Amdocs 7.5
- Document and test all integrations as each upgrade is completed
- Upgrade Tuxedo where appropriate
- Verify Flexible Deployment with new Tuxedo UBBCONFIG
- Verify Flexible Deployment with new Tuxedo UBBCONFIG
- Upgrade Weblogic where appropriate
- Verify integrations via Amdocs Integration Gateway
- Upgrade Tuxedo where appropriate
- Repeat above process and document entire upgrade process
- Test – Test - Test
